Fashion Design? I have tons of ideas for fashion designs in my head, but I can't draw very well. Should I continue my ideas of taking Fashion Design classes, or just forget it because I can't draw?

FaSHION DESIGN???? I want to study fashion design when I am finished high school. But theres a catch... I am not the best at drawing! I took art in high school once but it wasn't what people would call art. It was pretty weird, but also was my teacher lol. Anyways if i go to a arts school for fashion design, will I have to have that experience or will I be taught how to draw properly???. fashion design? Im applying for a course in september at nvq level. it asks for a practical art porfolio. will my gcse art and design scetchbook and process work be ok? it doesnt ask for a fashion portfolio, it asks for an art one just to see your art skills and how creative you are. any ideas what i can add to mine? i have: - self portrait work which includes lino prints and the lino cut out as well as different media drawings. - Shell work which includes ink printing and origional drawings and ideas sheet. - goth weekend work which includes scetchbook, 3 artist sheets, a exploration sheet on aspects of goth weekend and photos of my final piece. what else should i include. should i just do a few more sheets on gothic clothing to show ive concidored fashion in it?

I am not interested in drawing books, as I have already mastered that skill & already own a great book ('Fashion Illustration for Designers', by Kathryn Hagen.) Fashion Design HELP!? I'm finishing my sophmore year in high school and I really want to be a fashion designer once I finish. Currently I know the basics of sewing by teaching myself. I have sewed many costumes and doll clothes that look pretty good. I have also altered my own clothes a little. I really want to get into a fashion design school like FIT in New York. I am pretty good at sketching my designs but I want to know a couple of questions. What are good markers/pencils to use for coloring my sketches? Also, what do I need to do to get into a good fashion design school? I am extremely creative and always have been.
