Do fashion schools teach you how to sew? I'm interested in studying fashion design, particularly at Central Saint Martins in London, which I've heard is pretty much the Harvard of fashion design schools so it's safe to say I feel quite intimidated. I think with my technical skills, I might get in but I'm afraid they might expect me to already have some basic knowledge of sewing. I am a sophmore student whose days of research leave me still bewildered and left with no findings. I'd like listings of colleges only in the south, preferably in the southwest. All I seem to find are B.S online schools and those cheesy schools that are international, that advertise on t.v, and are located in numberous states. Help with Fashion Schools? I want to go a college/institute for Fashion Design. I've looked at a few and they all seem so expensive. I plan on going to a community college first to get my Business Degree. I would like to go to a College/Institute/University (whatever) and Major in Fashion Design. fashion merchandising schools in italy?!?!? hey everybody!!! well i am starting to think about what i want to do in life....and lately what interest me is after highschool i go to Italy and study fashion marchandising!! the only problem is I keep looking for schools, but i just can't find one that seems suitable for my possible carrer choice!! i want to be a buyer for stores or somehow work in retail and maybe own a boutique or something!! i really want to study in Italy though...so if you could recommend any schools in Italy for fashion merchandising that would be awesome!! a lot of people suggest to me that i be a designer, but i HATE sewing...so is there any jobs i could do where i design, but not actually make the clothing?!?! thank you soo much for your answers..i appreciate them all!!! i am thinking about going somewhere in Milan, Italy...any suggestions?!?!
